It has been a major effort to get my senior sessions on the blog before I start blogging this years Senior Reps. There are so many sessions from late last summer and fall that still need to be featured. I had the beautiful senior scheduled for todays featured, I happened to log onto Facebook this morning and realized it is also her birthday today. Happy Birthday gorgeous Beth, may your day be as fabulous as you are!
We did Beth’s session last August right when school was starting. Beth is a senior at Marion Local High School located here in Mercer County. It is so nice photographing seniors from all these local small towns. Each town holds its own great places for photos and the Maria Stein area is no exception.
We started out at the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein ; it is a gorgeous retreat area that makes a perfect backdrop. We started Beth’s session early in the morning and were able to really soak up that soft morning light. Beth was willing to do anything including lay down in a patch of vines and climb right into a tall cluster of weeds.
After two outfit changes we moved around Maria Stein including stopping by the grain bins in the middle of town. How great do Beth’s clothing choices go with the metallic on the bins? Who knew we would find such great backdrops with all the dust and corn. (Disclaimer: I am not sure if they are called grain bins or if it was corn, I might be the only one in Mercer County who does not know what all that is!)
Beth is also involved in her school sports. We were luckily able to sneak into her high school, if I remember correctly this was only a few days before school was set to start. The teachers preparing for the year were nice enough to help us find some light switches!
Beth, enjoy what very little is left of your senior year. It will go so fast and you will be entering college before you know it. It was wonderful getting to know you and your Mom.
