Sixteen mile per hour winds coming from the west with burst of stronger winds, a high of forty-six degrees, and a wind chill making it feel like thirty-six degrees. Everything that Ohio could possibly throw their way would not stop the day that Beca had awaited for six years. It was finally here; she was finally going to marry the great love of her life.
At their small high school Beca caught Nathan’s eye as she walked across the gym during lunch. Nate knew he had to make an effort to get to know the girl he saw and only a few weeks later he asked Beca to his girlfriend. Time went on and Nathan knew that this was the girl he was mean to marry.
Nathan dropped to one knee is Dad’s shop right before heading to family parties and Beca happily said yes!
Beca spent the morning of her wedding day in the home of her parents, where she grew up from a little girl to the soon to be new bride. All the women who have supported her over the years where there by her side. The sisters and friends who stood beside her as the Bridesmaids to her Mother who helped Beca grow into the beautiful young woman she is now.
We caught up with the Groomsmen and Nathan up at the Church…
We happened to catch a break after the ceremony where the weather cooperated a little. The wind died down and we managed to get some of this gorgeous fall weather.
Nate is also a firefighter for Fort Recovery; they were willing to let us do some photos up at the firehouse. Notice that it is in fact raining a cold rain at this point and the wedding party held it together…
So much love going out to these two, Beca has been by my side at many of my weddings helping me shoot. She is the photographer behind Creations by Rebecca. I have loved getting to spend this special time in your life with you and love calling you one of my friends!
