Now that the winter weather has finally broken and we are seeing small signs of spring everywhere the last thing we want to do is go back to anything winter related. However Christie and Dave’s snow covered wedding is worth a second glance. On a Saturday back in February the snow was falling those big heavy flakes that just float in the air as the friends of family gathered to celebrate their marriage. It was a warm 32 degrees, which felt like summer after all the frigid temps Ohio had been experiencing.
Saint Henry Catholic Church provided the beautiful setting for this wedding; we managed to do most of the photos that day in the entrance doors for the church.
That is the real snow in these photos; believe it or not no extra retouching was added. How gorgeous for a winter wedding.
The wedding party was great to work with, everyone was on the same page that it was cold and if we all cooperated we could go as fast as possible!
Dave’s Mother passed away ten years ago so his Grandmother was there for the Mother and Son dance; all of Dave’s sisters joined them on the dance floor before the song was over.
It was an honor to be apart of Christie and Dave’s day and to be there to experience their love first hand; they are such a beautiful couple.
Christie’s Aunt was the florist for the day and she had one of the most amazing bouquets I’ve seen in person, you can check into more of their work from Floral Reflections in Saint Henry, Ohio.
As always Brides & Beyond also in Saint Henry were the ones behind the bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses.
The Tux’s came from The Mister Shoppe in Coldwater, Ohio.
