It was a bright gorgeous sunny Saturday when Cassie was set to wed Nate. Cassie was her normal easy going self as time ticked close to the start of ceremony; she may have even been the most relaxed bride I have ever photographed. Nothing matter, none of the tiny details, all that was important was she marring her best friend later that afternoon. I met up with the girls at Cassie’s parents home where we took shelter from the 30 mph winds that were blowing us around…
I absolutely adore Cassie’s details, how creative are those flowers. She picked out jewelry for all of her bridesmaids and maid of honor Mindy incorporated them into the stunning bouquets for the girls. They really popped against the marigold yellow dresses, what a unique color that I have not seen much of before. Luckily the home had a plenty big front porch to save the girls hair from being blown all over.
Clearly their beauty is genetic, Cassie with her wonderful mother. Then two of her sisters were the maids of honor.
Looking gorgeous as always…
Meanwhile the boys were in the backyard being just as easy going as the girls. There was a little more griping about the photos though back there. Their time was full of jokes and waiting for the actual party to get started.
They were married at Saint Wendelin Church, which is where Cassie’s parents were also married. Such special moments for them to be where they once took their vows, raised a wonderful family, and are now watching their daughter begin her own journey.
For the group photos all they wanted was photos with their bikes, Nate owns a Harley himself and the couple can usually be found on it. They, of course, have friends who share the same interested and had them bring their bikes for photos. The wedding party did a great job dealing with the wind here, if you notice the flag in the back of the photos it is standing straight out in almost all the pictures…
Thanks again Cassie & Nate for letting me be apart of your day, it was definitely a memorable one!
