It seems the weather here in Ohio has finally decided to warm up and we are now in thick of the April showers, I personally can not wait for the May flowers that always seem to follow the heavy rains. Spring is such a great time here at Elizabeth Ann Photography, I begin scheduling appointments into summer and wrapping up what’s left on the to-do list for this years graduating senior class. Most of the invites have been designed and delivered now all that is left is sharing all the gorgeous seniors from this past year.
Brooke is our featured senior today and not only is she a smart, beautiful young woman but she is my little cousin. We had the chance to get out three times for separate photo session this past year. Going through her photos for this blog is it amazing to me how much I see the young chubby cheek kid from years ago and also the amazing young woman she is becoming. I cannot wait to see what the future all holds for Brooke as she continues her studies at University of Cincinnati majoring in nursing!
I blogged some of Brooke’s Spring Senior Rep but some from the fall session are my favorite.
I have always wanted to do a full session in the snow but Ohio snow is not usually a good snow. It’s normally freezing with unbearable cold wind chills. One Sunday it was snowing those gorgeous big heavy flakes and Brooke was up for an adventure. I showed up looking like the abominable snowman and lucky I did since I had a major wipe out falling on snow covered ice during the session. That wasn’t nearly as bad as getting my vehicle stuck trying to leave the parking lot. Lesson learned, use a vehicle with 4-wheel drive when doing photos in the snow. It was absolutely worth all the trouble to have some of these photos.
Thank Brooke for being my muse this year, I will miss having you around to photograph all the time 🙂
